 CNC Machined Hardcoat Anodized Aluminum Body
A luxury phone never felt so good. Nothing jazzy or blingy about this baby ; The Mobiado Luminoso is no goof-up when it comes to performance either. Unlike its pricey cousins which are only good at looking great, the Mobiado Luminoso gives a stunning performance in the work arena as well. Features include a 'Nokia interface, 2-megapixel camera, microSD slot, MP3 player and Bluetooth.'Mobiado has always tried to fit the gap between exclusively designer phones and feature packed handsets and with the Luminoso, it seems to have gotten good at doing precisely that. The Luminoso body is precision CNC machined from solid bars of 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum from Alcan. The body is then filtered glass bead blasting for a textured feel. The body is then hard anodized coated to produce a rock hard ceramic coating with twice the thickness of traditional anodizing and with incredible wear resistant properties. The battery cover is laser engraved to produce details found in luxury sport cars.
DiamondShieldВ® Screen
The front screen is coated with DiamondShieldВ®, the most advanced coating available for polymer substrates. DiamondShieldВ® has diamond like properties and was developed by Diamonex Products division of Morgan Advanced Ceramics (MAC) company and is applied to the substrate via chemical vapor deposition (CVD).

Nokia Series 40 Developer Platform 2.0
Luminoso combines aluminum, sapphire crystal, and stainless steel to create new standard in luxury. The aluminum frame is created from aircraft aluminum to build a strong/stiff yet light body, it is filtered glass bead blasted, and then hard anodized coated to produce a rock hard ceramic coating with twice the thickness of traditional anodizing for the toughest of uses. The buttons are sapphire crystal and stainless steel, the camera window is sapphire crystal, and the front screen is coated with DiamondShield, the most advanced coating available for polymer substrates with diamond like properties. Mobiado latest phone, Luminoso has proved that not all luxury phones are decorated with blings and no features. Slated to go on sale from January 15, it will be the first 3G luxury phone. The USP of the phone lies in its illumination technique, thus its name Luminoso. The phone is crafted with materials like aluminum, sapphire and stainless steel. The body is made from aluminum used in aircrafts making it sturdy and lightweight. The body is then filtered glass bead blasted, hard anodized coated to produce a rock hard ceramic coating with twice the thickness of traditional anodizing. This process makes the body more resistant to water and dust. Stainless steel and sapphire are used in conjunction to make the buttons, sapphire for the camera window and a special coating called as the DiamondShield for the screen.
